To apply for admission, please complete the online application form.
The school maintains a waiting pool for those grades which are full, so please inquire about availability.
For the Admission Office to process an application and submit it to the Principal for review and approval, the following items must be provided at least 7 working days prior to the desired start date (may take longer during school holidays).
Completed and signed application;
Official school records and transcripts for the past 3 years, with the exception of students in Grade 2 or younger where all previous records are required. The school reports/transcripts submitted from preceding grades should be in English or translated into English by a certified translator. The documents should provide a clear description of the subjects taken and the grades/comments of teachers;
Student reference form(s). The student reference form(s) is (are) compulsory for any student who has attended another school or learning center for more than a semester. If the student is transferring to AISB from a school where he/she has attended for one semester or less, two student reference forms are required. One is to be completed by a current teacher/counselor/principal. The second reference form is to be completed by a teacher/counselor/principal from the school prior to the student’s current school. (Please contact the Admissions Office for the forms).
The Student Reference form(s) is (are) to be sent directly to the AISB Admissions Office by email/fax or in a sealed envelope hand carried by the parent to the office.
Information on the Student Reference form (s) is (are) for the confidential use of the school personnel and will be used to determine admission of the student;
Completed student health record form. After admission is confirmed you will be required to submit a completed medical exam form with doctor’s signature and stamp. This must be issued by the family doctor and will not be completed by the AISB doctor.
Completion of admission and/or placement tests as required (appropriate to grade level);
Copy of the child’s passport or birth certificate; copy of parents' ID.
When applying for admission to AISB, all student files are reviewed by the school’s division Principal and if necessary by a member of the Student Services faculty.
The requested records are considered by the Principal when deciding on a student’s admittance to AISB.
Once all documents are submitted for the file, the Principal’s review takes between 5 and 7 working days and may entail contacting the student’s previous school. The anticipated decision on admission may be delayed in special circumstances.
